Instructors

How much experience do the instructors have?

At least six years. Our instructors are highly skilled and experienced in teaching Salsa & Spanish language. The Salsa instructors possess a wealth of knowledge about different Salsa styles. The Spanish instructors know a lot about politics, culture, economy, religion, history, and many other areas of interest about Guatemala and Latin America.

Do the instructors speak English?

Yes, they speak English and Spanish.

Schedule

When do the Salsa & Spanish classes take place?

The Spanish classes take place from Monday to Friday. From 8:00 PM to 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

The Salsa classes take place every day from Monday to Saturday, during the day and evenings, contact us to know availability.

May I take Salsa classes in the late afternoons or evenings?

The schedule open for Salsa classes is flexible. You can take salsa classes during the mornings, afternoons and evenings.

Reservations

Do I have to make a reservation to take classes?

Reservations are not required though if you want to have better chances to get a schedule that works best for you, we recommend you to make one. Please contact us to make a reservation.

Salsa & Spanish Classes

Are the Salsa & Spanish Classes personalized?

Yes, our philosophy is centered on offering students an individualized method of learning. This is why we have developed 10 different levels of Salsa & Spanish courses and study programs of a wide variety, which can be designed specifically in accordance with the knowledge, abilities, and existing needs of each student. Our method is one-on-one: one teacher with one student.

Is it necessary to have learned Salsa or Spanish to start one of your programs?

No, it is not. We have developed 10 different levels from beginners to advanced students.

Do I have to have a partner to take salsa classes?

No, you do not need a partner to take either private or group salsa classes. We have both female and male instructors.

How much do the Salsa & Spanish classes cost?

Materials

What kind of materials do I need to take Spanish classes?

Our School has grammar books, exercises, games and enough materials for you to learn Spanish. All you need to bring is your notebook and a pen.

Do I need to bring anything in particular for the Salsa Classes?

All you need is comfortable clothing and good shoes.

Accommodation

If I take a Salsa & Spanish package, do I have to stay with a local family?

If you are not interested in the full immersion Spanish program, you do not have to stay with a family. We offer you the chance to take Salsa or Spanish classes and stay at our guesthouse Casa Latina.

May I take Salsa classes and get accommodation in Casa Latina guesthouse?

Yes, you can take salsa classes and get a spot in our guesthouse Casa Latina.
